Signs of Computer Malware Infections
-Slowdown: The first major sign of Computer Malware Infections is a severe slowdown of the computer. Applications, websites and other processes may seem much slower than normal. This could also be caused by lack of memory or space on the hard drive. Although lack of space may be the cause of the slowdown, the cause of the lack of hard drive space could be due to malware.
-Pop ups: Advertising windows popping up out of nowhere, even with ad blocking programs running, may also be a sign of malware on your system. New tool bars or home pages on the browser are also a big sign of malware. These programs can change many aspects of your system.
-Disabled security: If the normal security program on the system is disabled without authorization from the user, malware could be to blame. Suspicious activity on the hard drive and excessive internet usage could also be caused by malware.
